Free Virtual Family Mornings at Folk Art

Join us on Sunday, April 11 at 10 am for a free virtual Family Mornings, featuring the book “Kubi Meets Rosita” read by the author. The award-winning author Erik Speyer will be our very special guest.  The Zoom program will include Story Time and ‘Show-and-Tell’ Time for the children to share their Art.

Día de la Tierra - Earth Day Celebration
Los Luceros Historic Site



Celebrate Día de la Tierra (Earth Day) early on April 18th at Los Luceros Historic Site in a safe and family-friendly way!

🌸 Help us restore our bosque after we removed the invasive species by throwing seed balls containing local grasses out among the trees.



🌸 Grab a take-home seed ball kit to make some for your own yard.

🐝 Participate in a Bee Safari citizen science program.

🌸 Enjoy the trails along the bosque, Rio Grande, and through the orchard which will most likely be full of blooms at this time.
